We meet in the Davis Hall, West Camel, Somerset BA22 7QX, which has a lovely sprung floor, perfect for dancing and also has  a large car park

If the weather is wet, as an alternative to the  country lanes ,  here are Directions  for using the new A303 route to West Camel: 

 

If approaching from the A303:   (be aware that not all "sat navs"have caught up with the new road layout.) 

 

On the A303 from the Podimore Roundabout, continue about 2.3 miles. Take exit B3151 Ilchester Yeovilton (note West Camel is not mentioned). Follow the road round and over the A303. At the small roundabout, turn left. Drive past the Bakery on your right, continue round and down Howell Hill and the Davis Hall is on your right. 

Return journey: From the Davis Hall, turn left up Howell Hill. At small roundabout, go straight on. Drive 0.6 mile. Turn right, and take slip road onto A303 heading west. 

 

On the A303 from Wincanton, continue past exit A359 to Sparkford.  Continue on A303 for a couple of miles. (You will have a view of West Camel down to your left, but you continue past it.)

Take the exit B3151  Ilchester Yeovilton  (note West Camel is not mentioned). 

At T-junction, turn left. Continue on to small roundabout. Take 2nd exit (straight on) . Pass the Bakery on your right, continue along, down Howell Hill and the Davis Hall is on your right. 

Return journey: From the Davis Hall, turn left up Howell Hill. At small roundabout, turn right and go over A303. Follow the road round to the left and onto the A303 heading east.
